It's been a long lovely ride with all you awesome followers/readers I hear from throughout the year or two that I have been blogging here about everything! I've definitely been through a lot since I started this blog right around this time of year! And uh so yesterday I joined this cool Team Follow Back and that day I had a mere 26 followers.. Now I have 66! Good times!
SO I had a perf Christmas! Lot's of clothing, stuff like that, gift cards, etc. Hanging out with my family and bringing my boyfriend James along with me was definitely a blessing :)
And a few days before Christmas marked our 1 year being together! And what a year it has been I must say. Up here in Mississauga we got some stellar snow! We've been waiting for this and it is now here for us to enjoy! :)
Oooh! I also received One Tree Hill seasons 1-3 and I have already 5&6! So now all that is remaining is 4,7 and 8! It's a good show guys, so don't hate. ;) I mean if you have a favourite show would you enjoy it if I told you it was "A dumb show that nobody should watch" No probably not. So show some love to the people around you! It's the best thing to do! Pay It Forward, that's a good movie too! Yesterday I was home alone all day til about 6 or 7 and I just had a lazy day cause James was with family, my friends were either busy or with family or in Florida.. (Damn you Mia) So I had the day all to myself! I guess I should have blogged huh? Well sorry I didn't!

The Horror time!
Good evening, children! How has your weekend been? Mine has been awesome! Had a record release party with Bella & friends in Mississauga! Well it was like an hour long party, then she went out with friends .. and I hungout with James :) So it was a really stellar weekend that made me more and more excited for Christmas! I absolutely can't wait! And tomorrow, oh my goodness I have been begging James to take me out to see Christmas lights, and he has been saying wait until our 1 year mark, but he finally caved! So were going tomorrow too! <3 :3
We also got to hear one of the songs.. which happened to actually be The Horror! Which was totes awesome! She got home about 2 hours ago, and it's about a 4 hour drive there, and then my bro has to drive 4 hours back! SO he should be home at about 9ish! Ah, what a perfect weekend. The Horror is awesome guys, trust me :D
So good thing she is home, we can ask questions and pick her brain! Let's do this!
Question 1: You have mentioned that this is a darker, edgier record. Can you show/tell of some examples of that?
A: Well, example 1. The title! The Horror in part of it is about the Horror of everything! So it's not exactly a life-loving song, that's a good example. One fact is To You is the 2nd last song I wrote (a piano song too) it is so far the saddest, darkest song I have written so far. The titles, and meanings behind the songs aren't exactly from the happiest part of my heart! And that is partly why it is such a dark record, I couldn't find the happiness so I wrote about the only thing I had. That was the darkness.
Question 2: When should we be expecting some lyrics from The Horror?
A: Very soon! Just request 'em, and I will of course give 'em to ya!

Question 1: Now that you have revealed to us The Horror, what can you tell us anything about it in more detail?
A: Well, that one time we did an interview together I particularly asked you capitalize the word 'Horrible' and you had no idea why, and nobody caught on to it! It was clever, so now you can all look back to that interiview answer and notice how clever I was ;)
Oh, yeah.. The Horror.. Um haha, well it's finally done! After 3 months of hard work and long nights jamming out every hour I could, every inspiring spot, I went everywhere I could to find inspiration to finish this record for you guys! It's a pretty intense record, and I had soooo much trouble organzing the final tracklist and in the end, actually naming the record! Because in the beginning before I actually started any of it, I had a cool dream title "The Horror" and it was maybe the second song I wrote for this record, then I wrote From September On... and more and more and finally when I looked at all of them, and was trying to decide a final title, I had about 8 different possibilities! But in the end, The Horror was definitely the right choice. Though I really would have loved "From September On..." Being the record title, that song can just tell the story of it's own. Oh, and fun fact about this record... about 5 of the songs on here were written on the piano! One of them being, "From September On..."!
Question 2: How hard is it to keep quiet about the progress and info of this record and how do you deal with that?
A: You know it's hard all the time being a musician dealing with that! You know, you're so happy of what you have so far and it's like a little dirty secret you just wanna share and spill everything about, but you know you can't open it until the day it is fully complete, and that day was today! I definitely let a bunch of leaks out here and there, but I definitely didn't tell anyone how much I had done or anything. And nobody anticipated that that day would be this one! I got you guys there, I'm a fast one I must say.
Question 3: Spill.
A: Well, okay. This is the best record I have done so far, and no matter how much anyone might hate it. I am gonna be proud of this work no matter what.
I got clever with this record, you know I changed my habits and built off my weaknesses to make them strengths, and it really worked. Like how I used to talk about avoiding complete honesty in my lyrics, I don't do that anymore.. this is such an honest, dark, gritty and powerful record altogether and that's exactly what I wanted it to be from day one.
Fun fact: I cleverly planned the record to have 19 songs because of a personal story behind that number, and it is my fave number!
Fun fact 2: A Day of Worth is about two of my friends, and do the math.. if you add us together.. that makes 3 people. So I made it the 3rd song on the tracklist ;) Clever Bella, you.

UBER SPILLERZ
Whew! It's been a while since I posted 2 days in a row, let alone did a long post too! Lately things have been crazy busy, or I have just suddenly gotten bored with blogging and stuff like that. But those days are over guys! Cause I owe you all soo much more then that and I am so truly sorry for abandoning my blog for a long time and not staying true to it like I promised you all that I would, but life is a challenge! But I promise to be a better blogger! K awesome!

Question 1: Going back to the fact that this is your 3rd record that you've made in 2011, is that a major accomplishment for you?
A: It's honestly super crazy! I never thought I would be this far in under a year! And keep noted, Kaytelynne that record 3 isn't made until it's complete! And it's not, so let's not get wild here. Haha
Question 2: I begged you about an hour ago to give me one single lyric from record 3, am I allowed to spill it? :D

DECEMBER
Hey guys how are ya! Awesome. Well it's officially December, which means either one month or two until the nickname titled 3rd record "unknown" by bella until it is officially complete! But, she also said it could be sooner or later so, let us be patient but very, very excited! I know I am.
I'm probably gonna throw a release party up here with all my buds in Mississauga while Bella just has the time of her life in Peterbro.
Oh, but also if you want it to turn out well, and just stuff with her life and stuff she is really really struggling with, please pray for her and her life and just everything! And if you guys ever have prayer requests, oh ya just please let me know! I'll be happy to! :)
And 24 days until CHRISTMAS! Me and James will very soon be going out to have our annual Christmas Lights walk about because that is how our relationship started! We hungout one night, took a walk to see the christmas lights and a few days later it began! <3
And it's almost been an entire year since we started dating! :D :D :D :D :D
Anyway, let's get down to business.

Question 1: Is anything about "Unknown" you can tell us about the theme or what kind of place it is coming from and where your inspiration to make incredible music of this record comes from?
A: Ooh tough one! Well it's definitely something that comes from a darker, weak kind of place in terms of emotion and the lyrics and melodies, things like that. As sad as that may sound, but I absolutely love the music I am creating at this point in my life! The theme, is about the Horrible things I am now experiencing. And in terms of where I get inspiration, it's all over the place, from the emotions I have, the things I am going through, the places I take walks, looking out my bedroom window, the things I have held in, and all in all the music I listen to and love!
Question 2: Is it self-encouraging knowing that the people close to you have been in support of your music creating persona since day 1 when you began 'The Fall of Man'?
A: It is definitely so humbling! Knowing that so many people believe in my music and that they too know that this is truly what I was in a sense meant to do, you know? And knowing that there are people out there that actually want to hear these songs and the words I have to say and admire the things I create and knowing that definitely has kept my head up from life's dark challenges. And those are the people that pushed me all the way to this 3rd record in under a year! It`s unbelievable.
Question 3: Is creating music a dream come true?
A: Like you don`t even know.
