Hi! Again! Welcome to Sunday afternoon! How was your long weekend? Enjoyable I hope! :)
Buy um, Bella has requested to another interview! Were on the phone again.. she has nothing else to do so that's why she requested it ahah and she also had important things to tell me.. that you people shall not know ;)
So here we go!
Question 1) What do you want to do with your life?
A: Serve the Lord! But um, this has been an easy question to answer all my life because I know the speicifc path that I have always wanted to take and it has never changed, and it kinda might have been obvious. I want to live for music! I want to tell a story, and just do the thing that I love most in my entire life and do it for Jesus too so that people may come to know that saved people, are changed people. Another idea I had was maybe moving to Australia and just dropping everything and going there, and doing missions work for the rest of my life. Then, I thought of the idea of tieing in music to that.. and the bonus of all that would be I would get an accent!
Question 2) What is your song writing process like?
A: It always differs! The thing with making a good song with me was being in an emotional moment, or a time of inspiration and full of ideas and just get it all out.. like when I'm just sitting at home doing something and I have an idea that I love, I just run to my room and put all my thoughts to my guitar and paper. Or sometimes when I didn't have lyric ideas, I would just have a cool melody on my guitar or something, and just build off of that.
Question 3) What is something you hope to incorporate in the upcoming 3rd album?
A: Synth! Either Christmas or my birthday I hope to get a synth to experiment with, and I just basically love synths and the crazy possibilities that they have. Most importantly, I really am pushing myself to put complete honesty into the songs. I absolutely avoided that in TFOM & DNW because that's apart of me I'm completely afraid to show and the ideas I had with complete honesty were so dark and gritty but they had a certain style to it that made me want to keep them, but I did end up changing them to something different but still something I loved in the end.
That is all for now.. I have to go for dinner. Thank you for tuning in. See you next time, on the not-so-out-of-the-blue-interview time with Kaytelynne.
Love,
Kaytelynne.
